Star of the South Offshore Windfarm

Let us start the year with hope in our hearts. A new US president, and the proposed offshore windfarm off the coast of South Gippsland will power us to a clean future. The wind farm will harness a new energy source to power Victoria with clean energy, and create clean jobs in a new rural industry.

Offshore wind is well established in the UK, Denmark and Germany. The first project in Australia will be in South Gippsland. Studies of wind and waves are already taking place in the seas off Port Albert to explore our world class offshore wind resource.

Chief Development Officer of Star of the South, Erin Coldham, will be our first speaker for the year.
